At Texture Lab Academy, we offer a comprehensive 300-hour state-approved curriculum focused exclusively on non-chemical hair care practices, including braiding, twisting, loc maintenance, extensions, and natural hair styling techniques. Our mission is to equip students with the technical skills, professional discipline, and business knowledge needed to thrive in today’s hair industry.

Meet The Founder
Tiffany is a licensed Natural Hair Care Specialist, salon owner, and educator whose journey in the beauty industry began in 2012. With more than a decade of hands-on experience, she has transformed her God-given passion for hair and beauty into a powerful mission to uplift, educate, and inspire the next generation of beauty professionals.
A proud graduate of the prestigious North Carolina A&T State University, Tiffany earned her Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Science, with a concentration in Fashion Merchandising and Design. Originally from Youngstown, Ohio, she now calls North Carolina home, where she balances entrepreneurship with her most cherished role—being a devoted mother to three beautiful children.
In 2014, she founded Roman’s Beauty Bar, a full-service salon known for its excellence in client care and commitment to healthy hair. As her clientele grew, so did her awareness of the lack of formal education tailored specifically to textured hair. With prayerful reflection and a heart led by purpose, she answered the call to do more—launching Texture Lab Academy as a training ground for both professional mastery and spiritual empowerment.
Her leadership is faith-driven, intentionally hands-on, and guided by the belief that purpose, when aligned with obedience, produces lasting impact. Tiffany approaches education as ministry—pouring into her students not just knowledge, but confidence, integrity, and the belief that their gifts are divine and their work meaningful.
